Aliwal Arts Night Crawl

Spend Saturday evening immersed in the rich history of Kampong Glam with tours, workshops, exhibitions and performances. This event is the seventh edition of the annual multidisciplinary arts festival organised by Aliwal Arts Centre. Details here.

PAssionArts Festival @ Alexandra Park Connector

Gather your family and friends for a night of fun at this free art event featuring large-scale works of art inspired by Singapore’s bicentennial journey. There will also be mass art jamming sessions led by an artist. The event is part of the islandwide PAssionArts Festival, which seeks to bring local communities together through arts. Details here.

Dance At Dusk

Enjoy a free dance performance by T.H.E Second Company, the youth wing of homegrown T.H.E Dance Company. The programme includes excerpts from Silence, choreographed by well-known dancer and choreographer Kuik Swee Boon. The performance is part of the M1 Contact Contemporary Dance Festival and has been adapted to cater to audiences with disability or sensory sensitivities. Details here.

Strange Unicorns

Spark the imagination of young ones at this free, unicorn-themed, interactive art installation at the Esplanade’s PIP’s PLAYbox. The installation comprises whimsical illustrations and woodcut toys. An easy print-rub activity encourages children to give creative form to the mythical creature. Details here.

DRUMatic Fusion

Watch a heart-thumping concert by the Singapore Chinese Orchestra featuring the world-renowned percussionist Evelyn Glennie. She will share the stage with the Chinese percussionists, Gao Chao and Gao Yue, who are twins. Details here.
