What’s On This (Long) Weekend: 28 to 31 December

Visual Arts – Island Lights
Savour the last moments of 2018 with a laidback evening at Sentosa’s Palawan Beach, dotted with mesmerising light installations by artists such as Sam Lo and Tina Fung. A live band will also be playing tunes through the evening.
Music – Come Together
End the year on a high note with free live performances at the Esplanade Concourse and Outdoor Theatre, which will feature homegrown music talents such as Amni Musfirah, Jana Ann and Umar Sirhan.

The Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2019, in partnership with the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre and Giving.sg, will feature light projections on the façade of iconic landmarks in the Marina Bay. The projections, which light up the city skyline, are based on artworks created by students with needs and disabilities. Don’t miss the artworks as they light up the city skyline.

Music – New Year’s Eve Countdown Concert

Ring in the New Year with The Philharmonic Orchestra, performing at the Victoria Concert Hall, under the baton of conductors Lim Yau and Lin Juan. Concert-goers will also get to enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbly and watch the fireworks in the Marina Bay from the Empress Lawn.
