Where The River Always Flows V
Immerse yourself in this free, virtual concert by homegrown collective the TENG Ensemble. Listen out for their unique take on pop songs by international artistes such as Billie Eilish and Bruno Mars infused with Chinese music elements; as well as music from the group’s The Forefathers Project, inspired by Singapore’s diverse Chinese dialect music traditions. Celebrate National Day On Animal Crossing
If you have been swept up by the Animal Crossing video game craze, you will be happy to know that you can celebrate Singapore’s National Day in style via the game. Local illustrator Aida Sa’ad has designed traditional ethnic costumes, as well as outfits of iconic Singapore figures, that can be worn by your onscreen character. Read about the places that move artists’ hearts in this series of articles by online art magazine Plural Art Mag. A hundred local artists were invited to share about their favourite places around Singapore -and created new works in response to the sites. The creative result: a series of interactive sliders which juxtapose the sites and the artists’ new works, published in the form of short essays online.
