The Esplanade’s Huayi – Chinese Festival of Arts (31 January to 9 February) offers workshops and performances that will allow you to bond with loved ones while immersing yourself in Chinese culture and digging deep into its roots. Learn about the story behind the 12 Chinese zodiac animals through this parent-child workshop. Participants will try their hands at craft activities, as well as role play and storytelling. The participatory workshop is conducted by Singapore actor and drama educator Renee Chua. Details here.

PIP’s PLAYbox Activities
Enjoy do-it-yourself craft activities at the Esplanade’s child-friendly space, PIP’s PLAYbox. Create koi fish decorations with craft materials provided and take home the symbol of good fortune and prosperity.
