SWF Book Club: Shazia Hafiz & Samuel Lee
We ask some of our festival writers to talk about the books that changed the way they thought about language. In this session, Samuel Lee speaks on Ken Saro-Wiwa's Sozaboy: A Novel in Rotten English as well as poems by Arthur Yap. Shazia Hafiz Ramji talks about titles by Amitav Ghosh, Dionne Brand's A Map to the Door of No Return and Rachel Kushner's The Flamethrowers.
This session is made possible with the assistance of the High Commission of Canada and the Canada Council for the Arts.
