Arts Matters: Learn how to integrate your art into the metaverse with NAC and Branded
Calling all makers and performers – keep your art practice relevant in the new digital age by joining in on the Arts Matters Academy, a one-day symposium held at *SCAPE on 26 Sep, from 10am to 5pm.
The Academy is a product of Arts Matters, an inaugural events partnership between NAC and Branded, and is a part of the programme line-up at the All That Matters 2022festival helmed by Branded.
Envisioned as a dedicated event platform to bring together Singapore’s arts sector with global leaders from the wider creative economy, the Academy will provide the community with the opportunity to network and discover concepts, tips, applications, and collaboration opportunities on subjects such as the metaverse, Non-fungible tokens (NFTs), digital marketing, and monetisation.
This partnership is aligned with NAC’s ongoing effort to equip and support the local arts sector by helping practitioners to uncover new capabilities within their fields of interest – whether it’s through learning new skills or identifying potential collaborators to push their practice forward.
Taking place from 26 to 28 Sep, the wider All That Matters 2022 festival features two main tracks:
- The Conference Track (Hilton Singapore Orchard): a networking event featuring over 2,000 global industry leaders from both the Web3 world and the entertainment industry in Asia.
- The Academy Track (*SCAPE): a learning experience that upskills and connects participants. It features speaker-led events exploring emerging Fintech technologies across five industries (music, digital, marketing, gaming and sports). Included in this track are three Learning Matters Academies geared specifically to the Arts, Music and Sports industries, presented by NAC, YouTube, and SportSG respectively.
Through knowledge sharing by global industry leaders in Web3, Blockchain, Marketing, Tech, Media and Music industries, the Arts Matters Academy aims to teach and upskill art creators, performers and managers. The programme will show participants how to make use of Web3 technologies like NFTs, collaborate and monetise content with the metaverse and build their own art brand and community.
Speakers from companies like BOLT Global, Crypto.com, Xsolla and X.LA, FaZe Clan, Collab, Google, Mastercard and Wunderman Thompson will be featured in the line-up.
