Enjoy a fun Christmas musical
Don’t miss this family-friendly musical performance about Santa’s elves working in the Singapore office and are unable to return home for Christmas due to the global pandemic. The 45-minute show is held at the Esplanade outdoor theatre by Singapore-based theatre company 7/8 Musical Collective. The performance includes Christmas pop classics as well as heartwarming musical theatre songs. The show will play twice on 24 Dec, at 7.30pm and 9pm. Make festive decorations by hand
Sign up for a class that teaches you how to make festive decorations by hand. One such offering is a craft workshop offered by Floradise Studio, which teaches participants how to assemble their own festive glass domes, complete with a mini Christmas tree decorations made from preserved flowers and botanicals.
Relax to merry tunes
Enjoy Cultural Medallion recipient Louis Soliano’s soulful rendition of Christmas classics such as The Christmas Song and Sleigh Ride in this 45-minute performance. He will be accompanied by singer Rebecca Alwani, violinist Karen de Silva and pianists Joel Chua and Eugene Ang. Watch winter-themed cartoons on a big screen
Celebrate Christmas this year by taking the children to the ArtScience Museum where they can watch free screenings of cartoons starring the well-loved fairy tale characters Moomins. The cartoons on show are based on the original Moomins novels and comic strips by Finnish author Tove Jansson.
